Baltic Circus Now - Baltic showcase in UK!

Baltic Circus Now is an international contemporary circus showcase featuring artists from

Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to UK audiences. Through performances, networking and artistic

exchange, the project aims to strengthen connections between the Baltic and UK contemporary

circus sectors.


Programme

  • 16 September – Pitch Session & Reception at Jacksons Lane

  • 16–17 September – How a Spiral Works by Art for Rainy Days (Latvia) at Jacksons Lane

  • 14–15 October – Itch by Teatronas (Lithuania) at Jacksons Lane

  • 29–30 October – Lightgarden by Big Wolf Company (Estonia) at Circomedia

Baltic Circus Now is co-funded by the Baltic Culture Fund and organised in partnership with

the Lithuanian Culture Institute, in collaboration with the Estonian Embassy in London.

About the organiser

The Contemporary Circus Platform Teatronas is an active member of the Lithuanian and

international contemporary performing arts community. The organisation develops the field of

contemporary circus, supports artists in the creation and presentation of their work, and

introduces audiences to the diversity of Lithuanian and international contemporary circus

through performances, festivals and artistic collaborations. Its activities are co-funded by the

Lithuanian Council for Culture.
