The Digital Side of Riga ICCE

Riga ICCE will be held in Riga, Latvia on the 10th and 11th of May, 2022. We will meet in-person to hear wonderful keynote speeches, have discussions in world cafes, and also attend workshops. But that is not all. For those of you who can’t attend the live meetings, we have also prepared a digital side to the conference. The Keynote speeches will be broadcast in two languages, English and Latvian. The English version will be available on the BNCN Facebook page, and the Latvian voiceover will be on the Rigas Cirks Facebook page. There will also be a Latvian sign interpreter in the Rigas Cirks stream. The online world cafe and online workshop will be available through zoom links provided after registration. The digital program is as follows: 10th May 13:00 We start streaming with an opening speech followed by our first Keynote – Daniel Gulko, who will be speaking about “Creative Be-ing as Growth” Keynotes are broadcasted on both BNCN and Rigas Cirks Facebook channels. 11th May 9:30 – 10:00 Keynotes – Texas Holly speaking about “Inclusion in arts education” 10:15 – 10:45 Keynote – Alisan Funk speaking about “Physical Literacy” Keynotes are broadcasted on both BNCN and Rigas Cirks Facebook channels. 11:00 Online World cafes through zoom: “Inclusion and physical literacy in circus – If there’s a will, there’s a way!” Lead by Dasha Heiland Travnikova (KUFR Theatre / Faculty of Sports Studies MU, Brno, CZ) “How to make sure circus is possible for everyone? Working in an inclusive way.” Lead by Rika Taeymans (Cirkus in Beweging) 13:30 – 15:00 Online workshop run by Alisan Funk “Physical Literacy as an advocacy tool in circus” available through zoom The zoom links will be provided once you have registered for the Riga ICCE event.
