ARTiculate Pedagogy Network Meeting in Lund, 2022

While meetings in person are scarce, it is well worth celebrating the times that it is possible! Hosted by Cirkus Syd, Baltic Nordic Circus Network members met in Lund for the final ARTiculate Pedagogy Network Meeting.

The meeting was a two day workshop organized by Cirkus Syd and lead by Lina B. Frank and Edward Rapley with support from Typhaine Sotés and Alise Bokaldere. During these two days a group of passionate individuals discussed how dreams for circus education could become reality. Capacity-building, supporting circus teachers, and developing exchange programs were all thoughts brought up during these discussions. These discussions don’t end here, but will be taken further into development for future projects.

The members were hosted for dinner by Karavan Circus Collective in Malmö, where the members were greeted with live music and some wonderful company!

The ARTiculate Pedagogy Network organizes meetings and learning labs to co-create a strategy for BNCN and partner’s contribution to the development of Circus Education in the Baltic Nordic region for the years 2023-2026.

ARTiculate members: Rīgas Cirks (LV), FYCA (Finnish Youth Circus Association) (FI), Circus Studio Folie (EST), Circus Syd (SE), Hringleikur (IS), Karavan (SE), Teatronas (LT), Cirkulacija (LT), Acting for Climate, Arts Printing House (LT).

This project is made possible with the support of Nordic Council of Ministers and Nordic Culture Point.
