2026 has been the year of activation and change, and we are happy to announce one of the big ones! For the next three years BNCN host will be DYNAMO in Odense, Denmark, with a supportive co-host, Arts Printing House in Vilnius, Lithuania!

We are very much grateful to the previous hosts Teatronas and co-hosts Circle of Arts, whose work and adjusting to change have supported the network during the challenging new times of life after COVID!

But now, a little introduction!

DYNAMO is a workspace for contemporary circus, with the main focus on co-production and residencies, and on top of that, we present guest performances and an annual circus festival in Odense, Denmark. They have been members of BNCN since 2017.

Ida Nørgaard, the Producer of DYNAMO, shares her thoughts on the role of hosting BNCN:

"DYNAMO is excited to step in as host of the Baltic Nordic Circus Network. DYNAMO opened in 2017 and quickly became members of BNCN, and we could soon see that this membership had a tremendous positive impact on DYNAMO´s development from the very beginning. So we are very happy to be able to contribute to this network, which has given us and the circus field so much, by hosting the network for the next 3 years."

Arts Printing House is a performing arts venue that also has contemporary circus, street theatre and children and youth theatre festivals, a residency programme and an emerging artists programme. They have been members of BNCN since 2015.

Why do we change hosts?

The network works to strengthen the regional collaboration and development of the circus sector. That said, it is important for us to practice horizontal governance of the network. Therefore, once in three years, BNCN, the host and co-host organisations change, ensuring fresh energy and participation of members.
